Skills that Branch Soccer Academy Teaches
Drills
Branch soccer academy teaches drills that improve athletic players' speed, agility, and coordination. These repetitive training activities stimulate complex movement, i.e., upper arm movement, and help the footballers and soccer players progress through skill acquisition stages towards mastery. The academy provides one on one various training sessions. There are different types of drills to ensure that soccer players or footballers don’t get bored from the same type of drills. Therefore, they can enjoy their drill practice experience.
Shooting
This sports academy also provides shooting experience to young talent. Students can't have the shooting practice at schools; therefore, the academy can help them to learn skills in this co-curricular activity and represent their institutions on various platforms. We maximize students' learning and minimize their anxiety, which will hinder their skill mastery. Students will also have a chance to have support in training and self-directed learning. We encourage teamwork in learning and enable the students to learn shooting skills at a level that will make them market competitive. We even make the students confident enough to present their institutions at the international level.
One touch passing
The academy introduced the players to the idea of one-touch passing. This will make the focus of footballers better. This will be crucial for the players to better understand weighted pass, balance, control, accuracy, composure, and timing. The technique will also help in decision-making and sharpness in the game. It enables the learners to understand the basics of one-touch passing. In pairs, the players of the game would stand opposite one another with two cones between the two players-one cone is on the right, and the other is on the left. The ball is passed between the two players with the help of one-touch passing, but care should be taken to pass the ball between the cones or from behind the cones.
This enables the players to have technical skills as it develops accuracy in one-touch passing during moving. With the help of this game, the players can improve their tactical skills as it enables them to move towards new space soon after the ball touch; they keep on moving and continue to think of the ball. One-touch passing also makes players learn about work ethics and physical fitness. Soccer players, footballers, and other athletes can develop confidence in passing and receiving with the help of one touch while moving.
It also enables the players to work on their social skills as with this game; teamwork is very important. After the game session, we also discussed with the teams to ask the players what they had learned during the session and discuss what was difficult about the game. The discussion session would also include each individual's benefits from the game.
